1. Agreement to Participate

By registering to compete in the Bloody Mary Contest at the designated event, you acknowledge and agree that your participation is entirely voluntary. You assume full responsibility for your actions during the contest and throughout the duration of the event. Participation is open only to individuals aged 21 and over.

2. Conduct Guidelines

As a participant, you agree to maintain a high standard of conduct and professionalism. Specifically:

a. You will treat all event organizers, fellow competitors, judges, volunteers, and attendees with respect and courtesy.
b. You will refrain from disruptive, inappropriate, or unsafe behavior, including but not limited to excessive alcohol consumption, harassment, or unsportsmanlike conduct.
c. You will only use ingredients and garnishes that comply with event rules. No outside alcohol is permitted—only the event-supplied vodka may be used.
d. You will follow all instructions from event staff, judges, and safety personnel, including those related to health, hygiene, and food handling.
e. You agree to provide valid government-issued identification upon request to confirm your age (21+).

3. Health and Safety

You acknowledge that participation may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Exposure to allergens or food sensitivities

• The consumption of alcohol

• Physical activity related to preparation and booth setup

You agree to take appropriate precautions and to act in a manner that protects your well-being and that of others.

4. Release of Liability

By participating, you release and discharge the event organizers, hosts, sponsors, volunteers, venue owners, and all affiliated representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages arising from or related to your participation in the event. This includes, but is not limited to:

a. Personal injury or illness
b. Property damage or loss
c. Any other claims resulting from negligence or accident during the event

You acknowledge that this release is binding and that you are waiving your right to pursue legal action against any of the above parties.

5. Media Release

By entering the contest, you grant the event organizers the right to use your name, image, likeness, voice, and any photos or videos taken of you during the event for promotional purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, use in social media, press releases, event recaps, and future marketing materials. No compensation will be provided for such use.

6. Event Promotion and Public Acknowledgment

You understand and agree that your participation may be publicized. This includes having your team or organization name shared in promotional materials, online listings, and signage related to the event.
